ABOUT JESSICA
I am a trauma-informed practitioner and licensed massage therapist who has been offering bodywork since 2010. Committed to creating a secure space for all bodies, I approach every session with compassion and a commitment to actively listen to you, your body, and your goals.
I also specialize in postpartum recovery and work with infants and children.
As a yoga instructor, my training is rooted in the Iyengar and Viniyoga lineages but also includes extensive study in Ashtanga, Yoga Therapy, yoga for disabilities, Dynamic Yoga, and Functional Movement. I am apprenticed in the Berry Method of bodywork, which accesses the body's own intelligence to unravel pain and inspire the utmost health. I also call upon my training in craniosacral therapy and lymphatic and visceral massage.
My lifelong connection to nature and respect for the sanctity of life shapes my work and how I approach a body's individual needs. I currently work and reside in Bethel, CT, but I am available for private yoga sessions and consultations worldwide via Zoom.
